When King Hussein of Jordan...
When King Hussein of Jordan died in February 1999, leaders from throughout the world went to Amman for his funeral. People who normally do not speak to each other, who spend their lives seeking to destroy each other, who have sent men and women to their deaths in battle against each other, stood side by side and were reminded, for one brief moment at least, that in the end there is only the silence of God.
